i wanted to sleep after posting the previous entry but discovery travel&living channel has gotten me so hooked i cant bear to switch off the tv.

just wondering, can people swallow their food if they are hanging upside down? theres the problem of gravity & the potential to choke and die. or maybe humans have very strong throat muscles.

netball is super fun. although im so short & all my attempts at intercepting a flying ball always end up unsuccessful, i liked it. im glad i went for the camp last night. sadly, the nightwalk was pretty disappointing. we walked from src to kent ridge view to central library to fongseng for supper my legs nearly turned into jelly.

im watching forever floyd on tv now and boy, im hungry.

i know im supposed to eat only fish but im having a sudden sudden sudden craving for bbq chicken wings.

im outbidded for my sci of music module AGAIN, which is so not surprising actually. quote aldrich' " cors is a freakshow " indeed.

celebrated tau's and aldrich's birthdays today with bryan's jc clique, hazel, her boyfriend and their kitten. (yes, hazel brought mango out in the kitten carrier!) their jc clique comprises of really funny&crazy people, i like! (: hey tau, please send me the pictures after siyu uploads them alright!

anyway, aldrich bought the exact same wallet that we got for him for his birthday present a few days ago when he was out shopping with tau and matthew. luckily tau found out before aldrich reached and bryan&i had to make a last minute dash to get him another present. ended up with a really nice (in my opinion) bag for him. i was so tempted to get it for myself if we didnt buy it for aldrich! and since he is going on a backpacking trip to france later this year, we got him a french for dummy handbook too. and as for tau, we got him this canvas laptop case from projectshop which matches the fcuk bag his jc clique got for him. i like both tau's&aldrich's presents because i chose them HAHAHA.

when bryan&i got back with aldrich's present he was already there so they had to come up with this story about me buying some pill to make up for our late-ness lol. siyu who just got back from hongkong last night bought krispykreme for everyone. i loved the one i had - green tea! it makes me feel like having greentea frappe from starbucks, which i haven done so in a long time.

i stole tau's birthday wish because i 'extinguished' his candle HA.

i am in love with the red cowhide backpack which costs $280. and the agnes b bag which i forgot to check the price. and the very affordable aldo bag which i think i am getting since i cant get it out of my head. this is so lousy why everything also need money! ))))))))))))))):

very tiring indeed. lol :D

i had my first basic driving theory lesson this morning with marilyn. the instructor who briefed us ytd was so surprised to see us and he exclaimed that we are super enthu. i conclude that driving is scary because i am not a born-multitask-er and if i pay attention to my left, i'll neglect my right; if i pay attention to the traffic lights, i'll neglect the jay-walkers; if i pay attention to road signs, i'll be distracted and i'll neglect everything. and i have not even gone to the 'gears' part. how?

i hate my eyes because they become extremely tiny whenever i smile and take pictures ): plus my face is starting to resemble the size of china so it aint helping at all. i cannot continue being a twenty year old fat slob!

weekend well-spent; happiness overload (:

saturday was sentosa day with jacky. the last time i went sentosa was not veryveryvery long ago but so many things have changed. the skytrain is up and the ticket acts as the skytrain pass with ezlink-like functions. somehow, i miss monorail!

it started drizzling even before we got to sentosa so beach&cycling was striked off the list. instead, we went on a touristy sentosa trip by going to the underwater world, dolphin lagoon & took the skyride & the luge!! suddenly, i cannot say that there is nothing to do in sentosa. they are just highly over-priced thats all. i think this was the 3rd time i went into underwater world (: i got to touch starfish&stingray it was pretty refreshing. fish are amazing in the way that they all pout and most of them still look ugly. i thought pouting is supposed to make one look cuter?

despite the drizzle, we managed to get on the skyride and have a go at the luge :D YAY. omg i loved it. both the ride and the thrill from the dash down. it was also my first time at the dolphin lagoon. pink dolphins are extremely pretty marine creatures and i loved the way they 'waved' and 'danced'. jacky said they looked like they were having spasms. i know they do, but they are still so adorable! dont eat dolphins!


we wanted to have steamboat at marinabay for dinner but when we reached that place, we realised evrything has closed down and its a dead town already ): i loved zhengfahuohaixian. why! WHY! WHY! we ended up having pepperlunch for dinner (oh, the irony). night activity was mahjonggggggggg :D played with two of his jc classmates and i actually full-tai for the first time in my life for one game. it was zi-mo somemore. i suspect im getting better at mahjong rofl.
boyfriend had his supper dose and i fell aslp first. he ended up sleeping on the sofa at his own house on the last night before heading to tekong to sleep in the jungles.

i woke up at 9.55am and recalled that im supposed to have a breakfast date at 10am. baby drove me out and i met up with acy in my pyjamas. amk hub only, nevermind :D i had some disgusting strawberry tauhuay which made my mouth stinked for super long. as usual we gossiped and walked around amk central for 3 rounds and bought tiptop currypuffs to eat. HUEYSUN WHERE WERE YOUUUUUUU. you missed out on all the hot gossips! see la, dont want come down join us earlier HAHAHHA. meet up soon alright. i want to grill you upside down when we meet again :D

home, bathed and out to meet boyfriend again. he was too lazy to head to beach road so we ended up back at his place. axn was showing some jamie oliver show about school lunches, i love jamie oliver! mtv had some plastic surgery show. omg the things girls do just to achieve the 'look' they want. its like 'ouch' onscreen. tv has never been such a painful chore to watch.

came home from karen's place & was greeted by a postcard from karen in the mail.

THIRD DAY OF OH-EIGHT AND I AM MADE TO FRET OVER MY SEM TWO MODULES ALL BECAUSE OF CORS BIDDING!

& i made a new resolution this year. im turning pescetarian. i'd like to try pescetarianism this year which means i will be cutting all creatures that have legs out of my diet. i will not eat the flesh of any animals other than types of seafood. but apparently im allergic to crabs, prawns and lobsters. so im going to eat fish, fish and more fish. i love fish. anyone who ate with me before knows that. i prefer to view chickens, cows, pigs and ducks as farm animals rather than my lunch/dinner. i hate duck meat and pork anyway. but the problem is, i love ham&sausages. lets see how long i can keep this up.

i need a new place to rant.

went east coast park with marilyn today :D we were being random and decided to be crazy and tried to act like spies just to prove jacky wrong. who said i was talking nonsense! HAH, take that! anyway marilyn & i cycled along the very deserted eastcoastpark and it started drizzling halfway. the drizzle turned into a pretty heavy rain and we were forced to be confined under the shelter so we spent most of our time gossiping & exchanging secretsssss :D

we had to brave the rain&wind and cycle really fast back to the rental shop in the end. our legs felt like they dont belong to us anymore! but we managed to walk back to parkway for lunch & wanted to take any random bus to the nearest mrt station because marilyn cant take long bus rides. somehow we boarded this bus that brought us to suntec :D we ended up walking around, turning toy capsules and buying donuts from donuts factory because there was not a single person in queue! and then, it was the long mrt ride back home.

came home, bathed & prepared to head to bryan's house for the new year party (: although i was ultra super tired and just felt like dying on the bed immediately, i was really looking forward to the party too. met up with hazel at harbourfront mrt station and that was where the nightmare began. I MUST TELL YOU HOW THE TAXI DRIVER CHEATED US OF OUR MONEY $$$$$. we were supposed to head to bryan's place which was actually pretty near nus but the taxi uncle didnt know where. so we called bryan to ask for directions. he said to turn to south bouna vista road; uncle turned to north. okay nvm, so we u-turned. bryan said to turn left after nuh, kentridge park and nacli; the uncle only heard NUH & KENTRIDGE. so he drove us into nuh kentridge wing & insisted that there's RESIDENCE inside. uncle, that one is HOSTEL PLEASE. hazel and i were begging the uncle to stop driving in further. when he finally exited nuh, he drove us to nus science faculty. OKAY SO WE U-TURNED. supposed to drive along science park, he drove us INTO science park. OKAY U-TURN. i was giving the uncle the directions and he kept wanting to go another way i nearly went crazy. then there was this long windy stretch of road without any turns so i asked uncle if he could please drive faster because we were very late alr. THE TAXI UNCLE SCOLDED ME. he said its dangerous to drive too fast. bryan, who was on the phone all the while with us, couldnt take it anymore and he told us to just alight at where we were and he came out to fetch us in. the cabfare was supposed to cost less than $5 from harbourfront mrt; ours costed $17.

let me gush about bryan's house. its so big & spacious with so many levels. his room is probably the neatest guy room ive ever seen and the biggest too. its so big, his super single-sized bed looks tiny in it. he told me every single person who went into his room said the exact same thing: "why your bed so small!" and he kept his pet lobster & fish in the toilet. his parrot and lovebird were in another toilet. timmy the parrot refused to talk to us.
hazel! she didnt go taiwan. she went thailand to pray. her ancestors are thai! HOW COOL IS THAT. i bet mine are all from china. anyway, she bought a new kitten with kelvin on newyear's eve. its of persian breed and is gorgeously snow white with grey-blue eyes. her name is mango. haha! and their pet pufferfish is called buffet. so cute!

the party was great (: there were the nus clique- andrew aldrich hazel & me and bryan&tau's jc clique with their bf/gf. omg the first thing hazel and i said to each other when we saw their friends was that lily is really pretty. sharon, tau's other half, is really charming too and she&tau are so cute together. bryan's sister has got class! there was so much food too. satay, fried rice, duck from the famous duck rice place near their old sajc, fried chicken wings from some alexandra food place, sweet&sour pork, canadian pizza, SUSHI AND SASHIMI FROM SAKURAYA <3 i attacked the sushi & sashimi. did i mention how much i lovelovelovelovelove sashimi? I LOVE SASHIMI. i bought macarons from bakerzin over. i just told the counter girl to give me one of each flavour because i had no idea which is nice. there was this green one which we thought was mint or greentea but it turned out to be pandan-kaya flavoured and another dubious looking one which tastes like tausar. we were joking that bakerzin probably call them la'kaya & la'redbean. macarons are french anyway. hazel bought famous amos. aldrich bought really nice grapes. i hate grapes because i think they cause constipation but i kept eating them nonstop because they were so crunchy. there were chips and alot of drinks. we played mahjong & xbox after dinner. i zi mo-ed okay! HAHA! played till around 11pm and hazel&i cabbed back. im spending so much money on cabs ):
