one of the single greatest gifts (and curses) to anyone who is a little anal retentive is bubble wrap. a great package protector, but the real joy is popping each and every bubble. dont try denying, i know everyone loved doing so as a kid (or even now).

this keychain device has 8 rubbery little "bubble" buttons. guess what happens when you push one? yeah, you hear a little pop. but there is one bonus, every 100th "pop" is not a pop at all, but a silly sound: a boing, a bark, a rude noise, etc.

this is incredibly cute.

wendy left her country without telling any of her friends nor boyfriend that she is coming over to singapore to work. she went to school as per normal the day before her departure, sat through recess with her friends, slept in class, gossiped about the girl next class, went out for dinner with her boyfriend etc. but the next day, she didnt go to school. she didnt go to school for the whole of the next week. in fact, she hadnt been to school since.

because she has left for singapore with her cousin.

her friends called up her house to find for her but she's always 'not home'. her boyfriend went to her place but her mom just turned him away and said that wendy transferred to another school.

i wonder what if i just suddenly play the disappearing act and leave singapore for another country too. i dont think i can be like wendy, putting everything down to embrace a brand new life. but i'd love to try. if only im brave and strong enough.

this is a short weekend with jacky because he had to book in on saturday afternoon & having live firing on sunday morning. we only managed to have lunch together, well better than nothing. in fact im waiting for 5am to arrive so i can give him a morning call and then head to bed afterwards.

i want to sneak out and cycle to karen's place since i have nizar's bicycle with me now but my parents are still awake!

the word GUILT is written all over my face now.
i opened my handphone bill last night and the most amazing combination of 4 numbers stared back at me.
$98.74.

and my parents didnt say anything at all; oh no.

baked macaroni&cheese for dinner last night.
from scratch, yes, with mustard powder ,paprika seasoning, bay leaf, sharp cheddar etc.
even though i saw at least 3 different brands of instant mac&cheese screaming at my face in cold storage. i thought i wanted to surprise jacky by cooking him this extremely cheesy dish.

well, it rained at night & dear was ultra tired so the mac&cheese leftovers are in the fridge now ):


as i mentioned in my prev post, i felt that there was a need for me to find a great chicken pie recipe since my boy likes it. and i found one that sounded not bad so i was quite excited. adding to the fact that i wanted to surprise dear (since the dinner didnt work out), i decided to bake him chicken pies for breakfast. how many people get to savour chicken pies fresh out from the oven as breakfast! i thought it would be a really neat idea.

so i got down to baking. ( i started at 3am)

by the time i was done with everything including the dishes, it was already 5.30am.
i packed everything and GUESS WHAT, i fell asleep.
yes i friggin' fell ASLEEP ON THE DINING TABLE.

so there goes my breakfast surprise too. it totally defeats the purpose of staying up and baking the pies already. what a loser ):

i rmbed watching a japanese drama back in secondary school and the guy cut the rabbit apple for the girl it was aw-so-sweet but i nv had the chance to try it until today. i love these so much im going to have my apples this way from now on even if i have to cut them by myself.
